Joe Gloss is a vocalist, arranger, and bandleader based between Los Angeles and the Bay Area. Gloss draws from classic vocal jazz and bop, while using contemporary ensemble writing to create performances that feel both rooted in tradition and modern in energy.

Leading the Joe Gloss Group, he has performed extensively in Bay Area venues, including San Francisco's very own Black Cat. Joe strives for spontaneity, dynamic ensemble interplay, and high-energy interpretations of jazz standards alongside original arrangements and contemporary influences.

Joined by Annie Orzen, Yoav Konig, and Sam Iannone, Joe and special guests Jonah Kinsbourne and Simon Aks will present an energetic and intimate evening of music that features vocal improvisation, new interpretations of beloved standards, and adventurous ensemble interplay inspired by the spirit and traditions of Jazz American music.
