Drummer and composer, Anthony Fung returns to Black Cat SF with his electrifying LA quartet for a 4-night residency (July 23-26) of fearless and dynamic modern jazz. A rising voice on the international scene, Fung has performed alongside legends like Terrace Martin, Herbie Hancock, Wayne Shorter, and Chris Potter, and has collaborated with artists such as Danilo Pérez, Grace Kelly and Cyrille Aimée. Fung brings music from his latest release Common Language - a bold, rhythm-driven statement of identity and sound. Featuring Grammy-winning saxophonist Alex Hahn, pianist Michael Ragonese, and bassist Luca Alemanno.
