Bassist/composer Marcos Varela is a Creative Capital Award-winning Musician who has made a name for himself working in the bands of some of the Jazz industry’s brightest lights, including Ingrid Jensen, Billy Hart, Eddie Henderson, Antoine Roney, Nasheet Waits, Charli Persip Big Band, Vincent Gardener’s Big Band and the Mingus Big Band, among others.
