An internationally touring artist for over 25 years, she has performed throughout Europe and Asia, with highlights including the North Sea Jazz Festival, Tokyo Jazz Festival, Jarasum Jazz Festival (South Korea), and the Prague Jazz Festival. She has sung with Wynton Marsalis and the JLCO with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, as well as with Kurt Elling. She has been slowly finding “her people,” one of them being legendary jazz guitarist Larry Koonse. The multi-Grammy-nominated, LA-based guitarist (Natalie Cole, Billy Childs, Bob Mintzer) and Michelle played together for the first time in early 2020. In June 2024, they recorded a duo album of beautiful songs, and these concerts at The Black Cat will be part of the launch mini-tour for the album, The Silent Wish.
