His music has a rich jazz influence matched with a fresh modern sensibility, drawing comparisons to John Legend and Harry Connick Jr. Since moving to New York City in 2020, Jacob has been a regular headliner at Birdland Jazz Club where his performances have been hailed as “a joyful experiencing of the music, with patrons clapping along and swaying in their chairs…” (Broadway World) Jacob’s live shows move between heartfelt originals, crowd winning improvisation, and inventive interpretations of modern classics. Originally from Houston, TX, Jacob honed his craft in New York City's piano bars, jazz clubs, and professional choirs, which continue to shape his unique sound.
