Grammy-nominated pianist Max Haymer makes his Black Cat debut with a trio built for drama, momentum, and explosive live interplay. Known for his decade as pianist and musical director for 10-time Grammy winner Arturo Sandoval, Haymer also collaborates with acclaimed vocalist Jane Monheit.
His sets move from striking original compositions to reimagined Broadway and jazz standards, all charged with rhythmic intensity, emotional weight, and flashes of Afro-Cuban heat. A recent South Arts Jazz Road Award recipient, Haymer brings a muscular, cinematic sound that lands hard in the room.
